Spurs vs Warriors: Curry’s 46 Points Stun San Antonio in Road Thriller

Stephen Curry produced a dazzling 46-point performance as the Golden State Warriors edged past the San Antonio Spurs 125-120, ending the Spurs’ unbeaten home run this NBA season.

The victory at Frost Bank Center in Texas snapped the Warriors’ six-game road losing streak and showcased why Curry remains one of the league’s most clutch performers. Despite historic efforts from Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle, who became the first Spurs teammates to record triple-doubles in the same game, San Antonio couldn’t contain Curry’s second-half surge.

Curry scored 29 of his 46 points after halftime, propelling the Warriors to outscore the Spurs 76-64 in the final two quarters.

“That third quarter is what we do — getting stops, pushing, creating easy offence,” Curry said postgame. “Thankfully, I was able to knock a couple down.”

Supporting Curry’s heroics, Jimmy Butler contributed 28 points and eight assists, while Moses Moody added 19 points, helping Golden State secure a much-needed road win.

Thunder Cruise Past Lakers

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 121-92 rout over the Los Angeles Lakers, posting 30 points, five rebounds, and nine assists.

The Thunder dominated throughout, leading by as much as 37 points before resting their starters in the fourth quarter. Luka Doncic managed 19 points and seven assists for the Lakers but couldn’t prevent the heavy loss.

With the victory, Oklahoma City improved to a 12-1 record, remaining atop the Western Conference standings.

“We definitely got better the last two days, and that’s the main goal,” said Gilgeous-Alexander.

Jokic Drops 55 as Nuggets Extend Winning Streak

Nikola Jokic delivered another monster performance, scoring 55 points — including 25 in the first quarter — to lift the Denver Nuggets over the Los Angeles Clippers 130-116 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The three-time MVP also grabbed 12 rebounds and six assists, marking his fourth career 50+ point game in the regular season.
